Slumdog Sweeps!

Usually I am disappointed by the Oscars. Usually someone doesn't win that I was rooting for. Usually I am so out of the loop having not seen much of anything. So happy that was not the case this year! I was lucky enough to catch Slumdog just in time- Saturday night with the bf (thanks Drew!) And I loved it. It took home EIGHT Oscars last night and deserved every one of them. I also added Vicky Christina Barcelona to my list of faves this year, and was so so happy Penelope Cruz took home for Best Supporting Actress. Congrats to Hugh Jackman (how random!?) for putting on quite a show!

I'm Back This Time, Promise!

My life has been a little out of control recently. I just started a freelance gig with TheBudgetFashionista.com (check it out!) and am continuing to freelance at Original Penguin, not to mention putting in my hours and overtime at work. Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Sorry for the delay, but after a bit of a blogging break, I am happy to say that I am returning to regular posting.

Last week I was lucky enough to attend the Chicago premiere of He's Just Not That Into You. In honor of the film (though I thought the book was much much better), I thought I'd show the big screen sirens on the red carpet. Statement necklaces, florals, big shoulders, oh my! I must say the ladies do look rather lovely and in-tune with Spring trends. My fave? Team Aniston once again! She looks so chic, timeless, effortless, etc. She was by far my favorite in the movie as well. Love her!
